Bodily Injury Coverage
Bodily injury coverage protects you if you if you are deemed liable for injuries resulting from an accident. If you have been convicted of a DUI, you must purchase at least 100/300 ($100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident).
Property Damage Coverage
Property damage coverage pays for damages to other persons property if you are deemed liable in an accident. The minimum property damage coverage if you have been convicted of a DUI is $50,000.
Medical Payments Coverage
Medical payments coverage will pay for medical expenses for your passengers resident relative regardless of who is at fault. Medical payment coverage is not required on a Florida DUI policy.
Rental car coverage will pay you in the event you need a rental car after an accident. Rental car coverage is not required on a Florida DUI policy.
If you have been convicted of a DUI the State of Florida requires you to have the FR44 filing. The filing certifies to the state that you have the high coverage limits of 100/300/50. It will be electronically filed after you purchase your DUI insurance policy.
Collision coverage will pay to get you vehicle fixed in the event of an accident. This coverage is not required as part of Florida DUI insurance, but is usually required if you have a loan on the vehicle.
Comprehensive coverage pays to fix your vehicle for perils other than collision. This coverage if also not required as part of Florida DUI insurance coverage, but may be required if you have a loan for your vehicle.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
